Default Got my 19x10 C6 wheels and 285/35 Kumho's in today.

Were supposed to get here tomorrow or saturday but got here today instead!
Tires were $165 each from tire rack and wheels were $179 each from discount tire direct (regularly $220 but got a discount for the slight discolourisation on the far back inside of the wheel). Woo Hoo! Can't wait to get these mounted tomorrow.

Are the 19x10's a stock replica with a 79mm offset? If so, I presume you had to use spacers, correct? I've got a set of 1.25" spacers to mount my rear 19x10's and I'm thinking I migh try and fit another set to run 19x10's on the front too. What size spacer did you use on the front and are you having any rubbing issues?

They are replica wheels but i got the 56mm ones so no spacer needed. I had the replica 18x8.5/19x10 79mm(used a 1.25" spacer for the rear) rears but sold them to my friend after having them about a week. I really wanted the same tire all the way around.

I was just going to buy another couple 19x10's with the 79mm offset and run a 1" spacer in the front. I even bought the spacers, but i didn't want to get stuck with two 18's so my buddy offered to buy the whole set.

Handling is great. Traction is as good as i ever had in a non drag radial street tire. Someone said they were very noisy but i observed quite the opposite. I think the stock goodyear run flats i had on the other set were louder.

I've got a company on corvetteforum.com offering to trade my 18x8.5's for a set of 19x10's if I'll throw in another $100. I'm seriously considering it. I picked my stock set of C6 rims up locally and only paid $200 for them and they're in MINT condition. If I trade the fronts with some cash included, then I'll still only have $350 (since I'll have to pay shipping to the company) tied up in a set of 4 19x10's, but then I'll have to buy another set of spacers for the fronts. So the bottom line is, I'll have roughly $450 tied up in 4 19x10 rims and spacers to make them fit at all 4 corners of my F-Body.

How does that compare to buying a set of 4 19x10's with the 56mm offset? Where did you get the 19x10's with a 56mm offset?

Discount tire direct. they are regulaurly $220 a peice + tax no shipping. But since these gad little chrome "burns" on the inside barrels i got them for $179 + tax. $775 total to my door.
This is for chrome ones. If you got Chrome ones for $200 you must have raped someone.

discount tire direct is the only place in the nation that had these wheels in this offset instock. I called about 20 wheel vendors.

Nah...mine are silver. I've now got a guy willing to trade (all we have to cover is shipping to each other) me his stock 19x10's for my stock 18x8.5's because he wants to go 18's all the way around, so I'll have 4 19x10's for roughly $250 + another $100 in spacers

My Z28 is black as well and I currently have the C5 Z06 17x9.5 rims on it in chrome, but for some reason I've always been partial to silver rims on black cars...they seem to "show up" better IMO. However, I plan to keep both sets just so I can the look of my car from time to time

Quick Reply: Got my 19x10 C6 wheels and 285/35 Kumho's in today.
