Anyone running FK-452's? If so, how do you like them? I am currently running FK-451's and think they are okay but the 275/40-17's look a little too skinny. Wondering if the 452's have a wider look? I am considering a set of these for $456 with the Discount Tire special.

i have the the 451;s which are the model before the 452's and they suck for traction. my car would just light up the tires very easyly. stay away from them. go with a nitto or other brand just not falken.

Thanks for the replies! I am mainly looking for a good 275/40-17 tire that has decent traction and is a little wider. I know the GS-D3 run wider but they are expensive. I'm also considering the Kumho Ecsta MX.

i got better 60 ft times with these falkens than nito 555r's.... dont know why, doesnt make sense... when my falkens had good tread i hooked pretty good for a DD tire... the nitos were kinda old though, probly had alot to do with it. im in the maket for tires right now since there bald and i blew one, thinkin either falkens again or f1's

the kumho mx's are a soft compound, they should grip well.. Ive never used them on the TA but ive driven a miata and vette and they seemed decent.. Short life though.. Bfg's are wide if u can find something u like by them.
I think falkens run small, i used to have 315/30/18 rt615's and they seemed skinnier than my 305/35 nitto r's.

Thats impossible, the fk452's came out 3-4 months ago. I just bought a set because they discontinued the 451's, and had to special order the 452's. So far they are OK, but I can accurately measure a difference from my nitto 555's because they are different sizes on totally different rims. I know that I loved my falkons 4 years back, which is why I bought another set.

ok, i might have the old set then, 451's maybe, im sorry if i got them mixed up, the ones i had had a v shape tread with a line down the middle if that explains it......really didnt pay attention but these bitches hooked for 2 year old tires, better than my nitto's thrown them bitches away
