27 feet tall?! That's a hell of a tire to put on a 15" wheel. I think you mean 27"....

Go with some metric volkswagon tires...I think mine are 185/75 R15 Metric all season radials I got at Firestone for $60 each....why 27"??? Thats a bit on the tall side. Especially if your running a 26-27 inch slick or street slick. Mine are about (I THINK) about 25" and I run a 28" slicks.
Just tell Firestone/Goodyear/Joe Schmoe's tire shop that you want some VW tires.

nah... skinnies are a necessity when ET's are on the line. Physics don't lie... Rolling resistance is a hurdle we all have to overcome, and in this case 4" is better than 9.5" (although if you ask your girlfriend, she'll strongly disagree).

Not only that, but skinnies also reduce not only the unsprung weight off the front, but a good bit of weight in general off the front, which aids the front to rear weight transfer.

Now why can't I find a girlfriend like that? All of my past ones couldn't care less about cars... hence the "past" part...
