Hmmm. Probanz has a location of Yorba Linda, CA and he works for the new Greg Weld company. Then again, the casting plant Weld teamed up with is based in North Carolina so who knows.

The Boyd Coddington that you are referring to is Boyd Jr., the one who owned the wheel company before he sold Boyd Coddington Wheels to AR. Same family, obviously. Boyd Lives in KC, MO now.
Weld Wheels is in MO, AR is moving almost all production back there.
Greg Weld still lives there, so GW Wheels is there as well, even though there is no affiliation and they are direct competitors.

It looks like American Racing is sueing a Richard G Weld and Greg Weld Design. Why would American Racing be sueing a company they just bought?

I can't find anyone that is selling these wheels and I don't know if his deal is with Forgitron or Alcoa?

Wonderful
. What is it going to take to get someone to make an affordable cast wheel 15X10 that fits over our brakes? Why the hell has this taken so long?? The ******* cars have not been built in 5 years. This **** should have been done 10 years ago

I heard from a friend of mine that all the wheels at the SEMA show were prototypes and that it would still be months before the production wheels hit stateside. Of course if Am Rac wins thier lawsuit the wheels might never show up.

man this pisses me off. why cant someone just listen to us and make a light weight 15 in wheel that fits without modification. i dont want to buy bogarts because the cost way too much and you cant drive them on the street.
what will it take for tjhese companys to get ther heads out of there asses
and listen to the f body comunity. i mean moser is finnaly coming around on rear end options for us

I live in Kansas City so decided to call their number. I didn't ask who I was speaking too but did ask if they intended to sell retail at their location as they did at Weld (also in Kansas City). His answer was no.
So I asked if it was correct the I would be able to buy from Summit. His reply was that Summit would be a reseller. I asked about the prices and his reply was that I would have to call Summit. MSRP doesn't always mean that the reseller will sell at that MSRP, but he did confirm that the prices listed in the PDF catalog were correct.
He said that I could expect to order from Summit mid-January.
He also assured me that the wheels fit the F-body (LS1 with larger rotors).
I won't be buying the chromed wheels, but $148 per wheel for polished wheels seems very reasonable in price compared to Centerline, etc., in addition to fact they are NHRA and IHRA approved.
I hope resellers won't be marking up the price since they know they can probably get more than MSRP (since there are so few wheels that fit f-bodies). It would be nice, if they haven't already done so, that Greg Weld corp would establish pricing guidelines with their resellers to assure they stay at MSRP.
As one said earlier, $600 for a set of wheels is 'out g-d d--n standing'.
Not of much of what I have posted is new new's other than there won't be a retail outlet here in KC and that what has been posted earlier is correct.
PS. I did not ask about the lawsuit. I would have expected the reply about availability with Summit might have been a different reply if there is a lawsuit and if it was going to stop production and availability in the market place.
