What's the problem with the 15x10 with the 6.5" bs?? Just that it'd stick out an inch more past the fender?

GREG WELD RESPONDS TO AMERICAN RACING'S ALLEGATIONS
OF TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT
Kansas City, MO---December 4, 2007---- As most everyone in the wheel industry knows, American Racing Equipment bought substantially all of the operating assets of Weld Racing, Inc., in September of 2006. ARE did not buy any of the three corporations: Weld Wheel Industries, Inc., Weld Racing, Inc. or Weld Distribution, Inc. As of this date, all 3 of these corporations remain in good standing in the State of Missouri.
Recently, American Racing filed suit in Federal Court seeking injunctive relief and monetary damages against Greg Weld for trademark infringement for entering the automotive aftermarket under the trade names "Greg Weld DesignT" and "Greg Weld MotorsportsT".
Let us assure you of the following:
1. Greg Weld did not sign any type of employment agreement and/or join
American Racing as was suggested to the industry in September, 2006.
2. Greg Weld has never worked in any capacity for American Racing - not
even as a consultant or advisor.
3. Greg Weld did not sign a non-compete or non-disclosure agreement with
American Racing.
4. Greg Weld never signed anything that would preclude him from using his
own name to re-enter the automotive aftermarket.
5. We are confident that Greg Weld will prevail over American Racing's
trademark infringement complaint.
Let us also assure you of the following: Greg Weld Design is a trademark used solely by Greg Weld. Greg Weld Design competes directly against, and is not affiliated with, Weld Racing or American Racing Equipment, Inc., in any way whatsoever.

I hope these come out. I'll be in need of a set of wheels soon.

Yes, same here. I'd buy these if they came out. I'm hold off on the prostars for these.

They look very similar to the ones GREG WELD wanted to come out with. I guess AMERICAN RACING had them out already?

Yeah, I really like those Torqlites. But I sent an email to American Racing asking if they would do a custom offset (like they can with the TTII's) to fit our cars, and they basically said no, nor would they ever since they have no interest. Oh well, thats fine, dont take my money then
I like the new Weld's better anyways!

He own's no facilities...he has taken the same road as many . Sent his design's to be manufactured off-shore.

Edit: I'm pretty sure he still own's the buiding in KC that American Racing is renting.

What a sellout...For years Greg Weld promoted the fact that they were american made and now practially everything he's making is in China. ONLY the forged stuff is made in the US by Alcoa and how long will that last. He's gone from an icon to a nobody in just a year!?

I just want wheels that fit.
