Default how do u define a bad day?

this is how i do. u wake up early to go out in the garage and do a quick test fit to make sure the prostars are going to fit with the new brakes u just installed because u r going to the track tonight. well they dont. so break out the grinder. grind away for an hr. then pop the prostars back on. but while putting them back on 2 of the lugs instantly seize up half way on. no warning. they were going on just fine then wham! they stop. so u go to back them off. but of course they wont. so what not? thats right-u have to break them off. well atleast they are across from each other so u can put the street wheels back on and move the car if need be just dont drive it around til the new parts get here. so as u put the street wheels back on wham! 2 more seize up half way on. wtf! will they back off? hell f*%$king no. break em. thats right. u now have 4 broken studs on one wheel. the car cant be moved. now the kicker. the car has a dana 60 which is prob the worst rear in the world to change studs on. why is that? because they are screw in style and that requires removal of the wheel bearings/ reluctor wheels and backing plates which are pressed onto the axle. and they have to be cut off to remove and a press plate wont fit between the bearings and backing plate. how do i know this? because i just put these studs in last week. yes they are 1 week old. brand new moser 1/2 studs and brand new bearings. so go ahead and order new bearings again and pay for express shipping then order new studs again. btw it is now 1pm so u have the next 10 hrs to dwell on it before u fall asleep. have a nice day

That sucks.

Since you can't drive it for a while anyway, might as well wax it!

Yeah, sucks man. I've had similar issues trying to get to the track. As pissed as you may be, maybe God's got a jacked up way to tell you something else...like you woulda lost it and smacked a wall had you raced tonight.

Damn sorry to hear that. Makes me rethink the Dana 60 option.

that's just f**ked up.

damm how the hell did new studs seize up like that? that's just wrong.
you must be using an air gun or something.

next time try using a little anti-sieze and then putting them all on by hand.
all the way down.
then do your final torque down at the end.

if you do that I guarantee you will never ever have a stripped wheel stud again.

but to answer your question.

how's this for shitty?
you just got a new motorcycle and you go over your friend's house to show him.
go inside to get him, he is watching wrestling......he turns off the tv you both go outside and the bike is gone.

never heard it start or see someone pushing it away.
all in the time it takes to go in and out of the house.

you even think it's a dream except the keys are in your hand and the helmet is still on the steps. I went home and opened my garage to make sure I wasn't making the **** up.

that was my nightmare (my first motorcycle and it got stolen).

how this:
You finally get a LS1 car, fly out and drive it 400 miles home, the next day the motor blows. You think this sucks but your dad is good friends with an engine builder who says he will only charge parts at cost and free labor only to be hit with a $2,700 bill for parts at list and labor?
