Default 315 where?

Im am 100% sure im going with TT2's but only about 95% sure about goin with 17x11 out back.....Who makes or sells the least expensive 315 tire?...definately dont want BFG DR's they wear to fast and wanting to stay away from nittos but will go with them if they are the best bet.

sumitomo makes the cheapest but you get when you pay for.
Nittos are your best bet as far as price goes. You should be able to expect 12k miles if you dont beat on them too much.. i think theyll run you around 180ish where the sumitomos are like 110.. I have gsd3s, theyre 270ish..

555's will probably be your best bet. The only other one I see in that size that would compare would be the NT01's also by Nitto. You would get more life out of the BFG KD's but they are left and right specific and sometimes hard to get.

I am going to be making the switch too... The BFG drag radials just do not hold up in the rear... need something with more versatility

Im in the same delima... I want some 17x11 wheels but the 315 tires are unbeliable expensive unless u get the BFG drag that will maybe last 8-10k miles.. Or Nitto DR's which are good for maybe 13k miles.... Bring back the sumitomo's!

What if you bought 6 TT2s. 4 17x9.5, 2 17x11 Put 315 BFG drag radials on the 11s and 275 Sumitomos on the 9.5s?

That's what I did, but it was kind of an accident. The Volvo needed to have the head gasket replaced and the Camaro went back to being driven every day until I could finish the Volvo.

lol...thats alot more money than i need/want to spend....lol...i got a set of chrome 10 spokes with mickey thompsons on them for the track......it just seems the cheapest tire in 315 is a DR....which i wanted to stay away from but since sumitomos are out, im kinda stuck.....I might just go with 9.5's all around since im lowering it too.

I am in your position as well. Nitto's arent exactly 315s since their system of size for tires is different, and sumitomos are discontinued. To me, my last choice is gs-d3s even though that will be so costly just for rubber =(

If u guys go with the gsd3s, u will never go back. I had them with 285s all around before switching my setup to a staggered stance. They hook great on the street, unless u dump it at 3k, and they are great for the twisties and spirited driving. If I didn't buy my current rims with tires, gsd3s would be on there right meow.

GS-D3s for me...315 style! Got to drive in heavy rain tonight for the first time and I will NEVER go back to another tire. I'm sold on the wet and dry traction. Untouchable by another tire IMHO!
