I was actually talking to a friend about these yesterday and he told me something interesting about them from what a friend of his told him who worked at a dealership. I'm not sure how true it is, but interesting. Apparently in 2000 the company that was making the traditional 5 spoke WS6 wheels went on strike and it basically halted production of the WS6's. GM then contracted out this wheel to be made by another company since the company on strike had the rights the the traditional wheel during production (probably why you don't see replica's). It was a way for dealers to get around the strike and get WS6's back on the assembly lines, although few dealers knew about the loop hole.

I know of several places that sell replicas of those wheels. They still sold em in 2001 anyway.

Yeah, but it's cool. They are some rare wheels and I love them. I may eventually get some others and simply box those up and sit on them for awhile. I really love they way they look while in motion. I don't have any video now, but next season I'll have somebody drive side by side and make some footage. They were the N66 option in 2000 only. And..... because I'm a *****......

Do you still have these rare wheels?
