Torq Thrust 2 backspacing question, please look!!!

Torq Thrust 2 backspacing question, please look!!! Well, I want to order my torq thrust 2s tomorrow, and I wanna get the 17x11 for the back, BUT, i dont want them to stick out more than the front ones at all! If i order the 17x11s with the same back spacing as the front 17x9 how hard will it be for me to beat up my inner fender with a sledge to make them fit? my car is lowered, there is about 3/4 of an inch wheel gap in the back, so its pretty low, any suggestions are greatlty appreciated!
