I really like these wheels but I got burned really bad when Weld Racing went out of business. None of the warranties were honored after American Racing took over. As a KC local I've seen Greg Weld go broke at least 2 times and I don't want to get burned again. A "lifetime structural warranty" is only good if the company stays in business. I wonder how long this one will last. I guess we will all find out together.
I read on another thread that Summit Racing is putting thier Greg Weld program on hold until the lawsuit is settled. It will be in their catalog but they won't stock them until there is a conclusion with the lawsuit. WTF?
I would really like "Coddington" to respond to these concerns but it looks like he is no longer checking out the thread he started.

I think you mean the Compstar line of products. We've never tried to hide that, as it's clearly stated on the home page of our website.

will the 15x5 with the 3.50bs fit on the front and clear the brakes without sticking out on a 1998 F-body? also what back spacing will f-body cars need for the 15x10s with a stock rearend?

Here is an up close pic. If you want a different wheel that shows more of the rotor, I would look at the Alumastars from Weld. All I know is that I bought the Convo pros b/c I didn't have to grind, and they are the same weight as Bogarts and lighter than all of the rest of the drag wheels including Draglites, Prostars, and the Billet Specialties wheels.
im looking at the 15x10 and 15x3.5 wheels....

I have a stock width rear, yes. I have 15x4 up front and 15x7.5" in the back with a 26x8.5x15 ET Drag. The only way to run a 15x10 Convo Pro would be if you had a narrowed rear end. The key is to keep the tire and rim size down to free up as much rotating weight as possible. I have gone the times in my signature with them, stock internals and only 340hp. They work great and are very light!

I seriously doubt that was Boyd Coddington jr. any one can make up a screen name. And any ways its JR. its just Boyds kid(don't know him personally), he is just riding his dad's coat tails. What has he accomplished nothing at all.
The guy posts twice and everyone is putting in orders for wheels, like that jack *** designed them.
anyway I would not order any wheels from Weld or Coddington(Ibelieve sr. is connected also). It was a sneaky underhanded game to start another company after selling theirs to the competiters. Disclaimers on his web site doesn't make it alright to backstab.
How would you like it if you bought a company and they turned right around and started competing with you directly? Niether of them deserve any respect for their actions nor are they credible people. Google their names and find all the lawsuits agianst them for bailing out on their suppliers and filing for chapter 11 in the past years.
