Rear fender rub 4th Gen TA/Camaro owners:
I don't know if anyone else has experienced this problem, but I got a set of ZR-1 rims 17x11 in the rear, with 315/35/17s and when I got them, I had Eibach springs on the car. The inner fenderwells come to about 1/8" of the tire in the rear, and the tires smacked into the fenders every time I went around a turn or hit a mild bump. So, if you're going to get 17x11s in the rear, make sure you have stock springs. If you don't, your fenders will destroy the tires or vice-versa.

I have 285's in the rear...took out my Eibach-pos springs and put my stockers back in with hose mod...much better..no sag...not as rough as those e-b's...[have them in front..no prob]Bilstein all around.
Yea man just do the BFH mod and hammer your inner fenders for clearance.
Then just spray some rubberized undercoating on it and you wont even be able to tell. It will look like it came that way stock.
