Default 11" ZR1 Offset?

I did a search and couldn't seem to find the simple answer I'm looking for...

I'm wanting to go with an 11" chrome ZR1 wheel on the back of my 2000 Camaro SS.

What offset is the stock wheel? Can I get a matching offset in the 11" version?

Also, what size Nitto drag tire would you put on the back?

Thanks guys.

I'm a noob when it comes to this... sorry.

you need 50mm offset... 315/35/17 tires.

Thanks man...

So this offset matches my current offset correct?

Are my stock ZR1 wheels 9.5" wide?

Thanks again

Thye are available in only 2 offsets. . . . 36 mm that really does not fit, and 50 mm that does fit . . .

Stock SS wheels are 17x9 with 56mm
The OEM ZR1 wheel is the 36mm and has the deep lugs.
The Gran Sport offset is the 50mm that fits the F Body best.

I see some vettes that have the staggered rears and some dont...

these look like the regular 9"s all the way around:

and then theres these 11" with the wider lip in the rear (are these the +50mm offset?)

and these are the 3rd type of 11" ive seen, with the recessed hubs:

i think i may be right according to this C4 corvette wheel guide
which seems to be a thorough summary of the wheel info, but i posted the above pics anyway... please verify if anyone could

This is the best I have at the moment.

These were taken right after the new wheels and tires were mounted. The pics don't do them justice. In person they really are huge. My buddies call them the steam rollers.

Looks sick man!

I'm guessing you had to remove the bump stops and whip out the BFH....?

I love this picture... I think it just convinced me that the ZR1 is one sexy wheel and that I just need to go with an 11" for the back....

You do not need to remove the bump stops.

I see those have the deep lugs, so I assume 36mm offest?

I want a set with the deep lugs, IMO they look tuffer.

Yeah but does GM make them in chrome? And does AFS even make those anymore? I can't find 50mm deep lugs in chrome.

+1

I want the rear wheel to look the same as the front... so I'd like to know more about the deep lugs vs. some change in rim geometry.

Thanks

Yup, same boat here. I like the look of the deep lugs.

But finding the right offset is a PITA.

Need to know about this whole "deep lug" vs. uhhh "regular lug" thing.

Quick Reply: 11" ZR1 Offset?
