Any reason for 10.5"

Default Any reason for 10.5"

Im buying wheels soon... Im looking at some 18x9.5 wheels but then i ran acroff some 18x10.5 for the rear... if there any reason for 10.5's?? and what tire size it that? (ie.305?,315s?)

With a wider wheel and a wider tire you would have a wider footprint. If you go with the 10.5 you can put on a 295 and it will fit flush and have a nice contact patch.

Staggered wheels just set our cars off IMO.

295/35/18 is what you want for the 10.5's

Why wouldnt he go to a 305 if he has 10.5 wheel?

yeah... umm these wheels are +58mm offset is that going to matter.. I know the sticky says +56mm I just want to make sure.

Remember that a wide contact patch doesnt always work as well as a long contact patch when looking for traction (taller tire )

I have 18x10.5s with +58mm backspacing. You will not want to run wider than 295. You will definitely have some rubbing issues. Im using a 5/16" spacer along with some BFH mod and an adj. PHR. Anything less and I'd be rubbing.
