Default Sumitomo's $369 275/40/17 & 315/35/17 Tomzwheels

We finally got in some Sumitomo HTRZ's that we did not have to pay a ton of money to ship in. We can do a set of the 275/40/17's for 329 plus shipping and the 275/40/17 & 315/35/17 combo will be 369 plus shipping.

I know there has been some discussions about this tire but it is really a great deal for the money.

Give us a call if you are interested.

Thanks
Tom

How much does shipping generally run for tires? Good price even for Sumitomo's! Some like them and some don't. Can't find a better price that's for sure. Atleast ya wont as feel bad if do some burnouts and shred them up!

That sounds like pretty good price. What have people's past experience been with these?

Good tire for the price, but the rears do not hold any power whatsoever. But then again, they're not really meant to. So far I've put 21,000+ miles on mine, the fronts still have good tread, but the rears are worn out cause they constantly spin with the power I put down. Neither the front or rear are really that grippy, but at the price, for a DD, you cant beat them at all. You can buy a set of 4 for less than 2 rear Nitto's

Well I see you're a pretty heavily modded ls1. What if it was basic bolt ons or stock. Do you think it would still have traction issue under full acceration?

Back when I was just bolt ons, ya, they were ok. At the track they would actually stick sorta ok if you did a good burn out and set them to like 15psi.

Still not a bad tire for the price.

Your just not going to be out auto-x'ing or cutting 60's under 2.0(with a m6 at lest) with them though
