Well This Blows!!!
While washing my car today I happened upon this ugly site.
There brand New wheels that are no longer made, so I can't replace it.
Does this look repairable?
What would it cost?

:b ang: MY A!!!!
THATS JUST TOO ****** MUCH.
bah... It sure has been a bad week.
I plan to redo the caliper paint and place the decals under some clearcoat over the summer. the other side is missing even more letters. My LS1TECH decals now just say TEC.

What size wheels are those? This is why I wouldn't go with a large wheel here, the roads are just too bad. I drove around a hole yesterday that must have been 8" deep.

Get a tire shop to break the wheel and tire down. Get you a rubber mallet and go to work. I used to work at a tire shop and that is fixable. I have fixed several expensive obsolete wheels for guys and they were very happy when they came back to see they look almost or just as good as new.

The wheels are 19s. The tires are General Tire Exclaims. I bought the wheels used with tires included.
and never passed a pothole on the way.I think I know what pothole was the culprit here. I take the same route 6 times a week
On a dark, cold night about two weeks ago, it was pouring and my headlights were showed so dimly on the road I could not even see the yellow lines. Then...
BOOM!
Never noticed the bend until today though...

I'm gonna have to look to see if there's a local place in the Philly area.
If I get this fixed, will the wheel have to be rechromed?
How dangerous is it to ride on this wheel for a while?

I don't feel anything in the steering wheel at all. I think the damage is purely cosmetic.
The Rims are TSW Volcanos. Sadly, there discontinued. You could only get the big lip in a 19" wheel. Theres pics of my car in this thread.
