Why does my TTM Chrome 10.5" rear not look right with the 315 sumitomos?

looks the same, (on a side note that car looks cleeeaaannn) ive been mounting tires for 5 years and different brands fit different ways, some sizes are physically smaller even though they are numerically the same. theyre fine even though they look funny to you

Yeah, but the OP's wheel's are 10.5" and thus 1/2" NARROWER, while the same tires are PERFECTLY seated on the 1/2" WIDER TTII's. If they can contact the lip of an 11" wheel, they should certainly do so on a 10.5".

I'm sorry, I haven't been mounting tires for over 8 years

They are not going to look as bad on a 11" rim as they would on a 10.5" rim. Mounting a wider tire on a narrower rim will make the tire bulge out over the lip of the rim. Since the TTM's are in fact a 1/2" narrower, they are going to bulge a little more than on a 11" rim making problem he is having look even WORSE.

I love the way KD's look. I had them on my car when I first got it mounted on TTII's and then switched to TTM's with 315 Nittos. I sold the TTII's to a buddy and everytime I see them they look A LOT wider than my Nittos.

NavyBlue99SS, i put my ttm's on today, with sumi's, and they are like that too. they arent like my previous kdw bfg's with the protective molding on the outside. they are good for the price i think though. the only reason i got em is because they were cheap.
