Thanks, Matt.
It's an Eibach Pro-Kit, so it's like 1.2" drop or something...The Z28 and SS have the same springs from the factory, so that won't make any difference. However, I am running 275/30/19, NOT the stock 285/35/19 that comes on the C6, so my tire is actually VERY close to the overall size of the 275/40/17.

275/40/17 tire = 25.66" tall

275/30/19 = 25.5" tall

285/35/19 = 26.85" tall

So as you can see, if you stay with the stock C6 285/35/19 tire, it's over an inch taller than the stock size which will throw the speedo off and will fill the wheel well up a little more which MIGHT cause minor rubbing. However, most guys that run the 1.25" spacer on the 285/35/19 don't report rubbing issues.

Well 'm lowered on Sportlines, just purchased a set of OEM C6 19x10's, i know i have to purchase 1.25" spacers, but idk that just sounds TO much of a spacer. i dont want my wheel to be poking out!! SO u think an 1" will do? or 1.25" doesnt poke out!

I see it on ur CAmaro, but i have a TA..

Thanks!

That's why I got the 1" spacer. The backspacing on the C6 wheels is around an inch less than the F-bodies, so the spacer will basically make the wheel stick out the same amount as the stock wheels. If you do a 1" spacer you'll have to cut down your wheel studs around a 1/4" on the back.

I can't imagine the TA rear fenders to be that much different from the Camaro's fenders...I'd still recommend the 1.25" just from the standpoint of you won't have to cut your stock studs to make them work like you would if you got a 1" adapter.

I have the OEM C6 wheels and although on the back it is close to the inner bump stop or whatever it doesn't touch, however I'm in the process of rebuilding my motor so haven't drove it yet like this. But I also want my wheels to have a more flush look with the fender and I believe the 1.25" spacer will be way to big.....what's this talk about cutting the studs if you use a spacer? If you put a spacer in wouldn't your studs be too short?

17x9.5" C6 Z06's with a 56mm offset will work, right?

Yes. Same specifications as stock SS wheels.

Those aren't OEM C6 wheels and are made with the right offset for F-bodies. So ya, they should fit...

the stock studs stick out 1.25 inches. So with any spacer under that you'll need to trim them down.

I've attached a picture with my rims that use a 1.25" spacer (adapter actually). You MIGHT have to cut the studs with a 1" spacer/adapter because the stock studs may stick out too far and not let the wheel mount flush to the spacer. With 1.25" spacers, the stude fit flush with the spacer.

I know my car is a Camaro, but the stock C6 rims fit VERY nice and flush with the 1.25" spacers and I have no rubbing issues at all and no BFH mod either. Just bolt on the spacers and go with 275/30/19 tires.
