Default 325/45-17 M&H guys. Come on in!!

I am fixing to buy a set and am just wondering how much of a pain they where to make fit. I have a fender lip tool so the lip will be rolled.

I rolled my fender and with whatever offset the standard Fikse 9.5" wide wheel is it tucks alright. I am going to lower mine more when I have the chance to put on some longer drop brackets than the standard 2 hole ones I have right now to keep my LCA angle correct.

They are 27.2 x 13.6 way to wide for a 9.5" wide wheels!!!! On a 10.5 or 11 wheel they will look much better!!!!

Maybe you are in the wrong thread? We are talking about the M&H drag radials in the 325/45-17 size. They are 10.3" wide at the tread and 12.1" wide section width. The sweet spot is a 10" wide wheel per M&H but can be run on a wheel as small as a 9.0" wheel. As you can see in the above pics they look just fine on a 9.5" wheel.

They are about 10.3" wide at the tread so they are a bit narrow for their "sizing" which is great for somebody who wants a bigger tire on a 9.5" wide wheel like myself. I will try to get a shot from the rear in the next few days, just working on the car so it's in the air right now.

i would have to say with my money i would run a 315 BFG drag radial or the ET street radial......those MH tires dont look bad but sit kinda funny on the wheel bulging inwards and dont look very wide as well...... just an honest opinion, but they dont look bad or anything and if thats what you want to get then get them cause they look like they would hook good from the height of the tire

The whole fact that they are a 28" tall 17" tire that is narrow enough to fit without much modification is what REALLY turned me on to them.

ya i see that and thats why i said they look like they will hook good from being so tall...... but like i say they look good, its just most guys are wanting that perfect look of the sidewall being flush and thats why i said that..... but for a car with BIG power you dont always care about everything looking perfect when your just trying to get traction! lol i know i have been there, i was running the 325 28 on the 94 forced induction motor and it worked well.....didnt look that great but it worked lol

When you are running a standard 9.5" wide 17" wheel this tire is just about perfect for those people who want to squeeze on a 28" tall and wider tire. As DopdBrd said, its a great option because you don't have to modify much.

Also as a comparison even though it's on a 15" wheel vs a 17" wheel. If you look at the 325/50-15 et street radial it's listed as 11.6" wide tread and 13.1" wide sidewall, but they recommend and measure on a 10" wide wheel, only a half inch bigger than a standard f-body 9.5" wide wheel. The math kind of works out to a similiar bulge on the sidewall, etc.

ok gotcha! i wonder why some companys dont do 10inch and larger widths on 17s and 18s? it makes it hard for guys that want to run a wide tire

well all i did is put it in the tire calculator and it gave me that size. Just going off sizing showed. If that was the true accurate size it would be way to big for a 9"wheel

Here's a pic on a 17X11 Boyd:

I'm completely satisfied with these tires. Wider would look better, but it's all about the hook. These hook awesome. 1.52 off the foot brake.

Yea, those tire calculators are almost never accurate as every company has their own "sizes" even when they are listed as the same.

I just ordered a set a couple of minutes ago so I will post up pics of them on a factory SS 10 spoke next week. I dont understand why people are so concerned with them looking perfect on the car when its a drag tire!!! Last time I checked looks dont win races.... I have found that alot of mustang guys use this size and they have cut as low as 1.3 60 foot times.
