Default Need Some Input.... 9" all around or staggered

I am about to order my rims from tomzwheels. Here is my thought process..

Should i get 2 @ 17X9 and 2 @ 17X10.5 for the staggered and get for the 9" rim 275 and for the 10.5" rim get 2XX or 3XX???

or

should i get 17X9 all around wrap them with a 275 tires so that i can rotate them?

How do you guys feel about not beinbg able to rotate tires?

And i am thinking of going with BFG G-Force or KDW tires too

Thanks

I'm trying to make the same decision you are, I think I'm going to go with 9" all around. I like still being able to rotate and get a longer life out of my tires.

If rotating is what you want then go with the 17x9 all around. But for looks go with the 17x11s in the rear. My vote is for 17x11 rears.

I guess for a DD you may just as well go with the 9s all around.

However to get that great 'performance' look that many have here you will want to go with the 9s in front and 10.5s in back. In this case, as I'm sure the ppl at Tomz will recommend, go with 275s front and 295s back.

why not just save up a little longer and get 1.5 sets of wheels? get the 9" all the way around for normal everyday driving, and a set of two 10.5" wheels for the back with drag radials/slicks for when you want/need the extra traction?

This is most likely what I'll do when I buy wheels.

I would just get the staggered wheels. Its not a DD so who cares about the rotating. You can always rotate them side to side if it makes you feel better.

Wider is better

if the car is a weekend warrior go with the wider tires in the rear. They will last you a few years. You will want new ones before they wear out anyways..

Definitely like the staggered look as well. Once you've seen it on the car you won't want the same size all the way around. You can rotate side to side...just make sure you have your directional tires going the right way...common sense.
