Default 15×10 wide on 3rd gen F-body

I want to order a set of wheels for my 92 Camaro it has 4 wheel disk option I tried few wheels from my friends but they dont fit they touch the rear caliper and I asked few guys in Cardomain they told me a 10" wide with 5.5 B.S will fit for rear wheels Im afraid to order then they wont fit I will burn them if they didnt fit so does any one know is this the best back space to fit a 10" wide wheel on 3rd gen?

i personally NO NOT like the way a 10" wheel looks on a 3rd gen camaro. youll need a 6-6.5" bs to really "tuck" the wheel in the well.
i run nothing but 8" wheels on a variety of different setup and never had traction problems.

your 92 brakes are PBR calipers(if they are aluminum) so basically, youll have to cut and grind just like 4th gen guys do on lt1 rear brakes.

if you go with an 8" wheel, i prefer a 5" bs, but with your stock brakes, you are going to be limited to a 4.5"bs. will still look good. much better than the 10" wheel sticking out, unless you like that look.

Really? As long as they don't stick out, I think they look great. Hell I have 19x11s on the back of mine and they look great (but they tuck nicely though). I can't help with the backspacing though...I'm running a 4th gen rear.

I HIGHLY doubt you'll have to grind anything....My GTA had disk all the way around PBR just like the 92 dumdumdumdum's and I didn't have to grind a thing. Picture:

No grinding anywhere.

I have discs on all 4 corners with no grinding. Not sure if they are aluminum.

Pro stars have been on them.

I would get one of those backspace tools from summit or whatever and use it so you know for sure. Can also have people posts pics of back spaces with close to the number you have and that number.

Remember that a third gen rear is more narrow then a 4th gen, a 5.5 on a 4th gen will fit different on a third.

if you like them sticking out a bit like that, then the 5.5"bs is the most common/available for the 3rd gen rearend.
