no offence to anyone who has convopros cause they are nice and light but my buddy bought some and when you get up close to them they look so damn cheap with that stamped crimped look around the edge of the inside of the wheel....... telstars, drag lights, prostars, BS street lites, and greg welds are all anyone needs to deal with unless they have alot of money then get you some bogarts! lol

i will be running 15x8s with a 5.5 backspacing, i figure run the smallest tire you can hook on. A4's typically hook well and my car hooks nicely now so probely run a 26x9.5 quick time pro on the car. Rims are poished and they are a little lighter then prostars believe they are right around the 10lb mark (dont remember it's 9.5, 10, 10.5lbs). I can tell you this much compared to my 17's these 2 wheels combined weigh as much as my 1 zr1

The shipping weight for both the rims and packaging stuff was 24 lbs on mine.

If you think those wheels weigh around 10 lbs then you haven't weighed them yet. Put them on the scale and then tell us what it says. No way those cast wheels are around 10 lbs.

Im going to get them in 15.x3.5 and 15x8 5.5 for now and im going to run a 275/60 street tire on the rear for DD use.
I will run the 15x8's until the 15x10 7.5's come out around September. When they 15x10 7.5's come out i will run a 295/50 street tire For the street and shows and the 15x8's will have a slicks on them. I know the size seems backwards but i dont go to the track that much anymore and i have seen 1.4 60ft on 8" wide wheels all day long.

They will be out in September. I ran a 6.5 BS 15x10 Weld Prostar on my car almost all last year. So that is why I went ahead and ordered the 6.5" in these wheels. Firebirds have wider rear fenders and can get away with it more than Camaro's. If you want the 7.5" BS wait until September. If not, get the 15x8 in a 5.5" BS

that makes sence that the 10s would be a few lbs more then..... not exactly as light as a bogart but a hell of a lot cheaper and looks better, alot better! and damn you really only want your wheels to be so light, some bogarts have been known to basicly fall apart when driven on the street due to being so light and not much to them! jakers
