I've had a lot of people tell me offset and bs'ing does not have anything to do with clearing the brakes. Like I said, I will just wait for mine and try them. If they don't fit I guess I'll send them back and wait for the revised ones.

I just cancelled my order for my 15x8 rears today. As I see it there are really only two options:

Option 1: Cancel your order and give GW some motivation to fix the problem. After all they are in business to make money. Once the problem is solved, place your order, wait 2 days and your wheels will be at your house. If the problem is never solved you will still have all your money to invest in another set and GW will not make a profit.
Money out of Pocket: $0
The only issue I see is that I already have the fronts so if the issue is not resolved I will not have a matching set of wheels.

Option 2: Wait for your wheels to arrive, find out they don’t fit, send them back, and wait for GW to solve issue. There is not even any guarantee that the wheels will ever be made to fit over the rear LS1 brakes.
Money out of Pocket: $270
If problem is never solved you will have a pair of shinny boat anchors and GW will have your money.

I had lots of faith until yesterday when my wheels were supposed to ship and they didn't. I also lost a little when reading that they just now figured out that LS1 and LT1 brakes are different!!!

Actually I still have faith that they will resolve the fitment issues but not enough to give them my money until everything is resolved. Worst case I will have the new designed wheels 2 days after everyone confirms they fit.

you're right...my fronts fit great.

I just looked at summit's website and it says the 15x8 5.5bs will not be available until 7/17. Hopefully that means they have the design figured out and all we have to do is wait now until they are ready.

the 15s will not clear cobra brakes without the use of about a 1/2" of spacers

the redesigned wheels have the drop center modified to clear the brakes....the new ones should fit and we will find out for sure here in a month and a half or so

ValentinePerformance and myself have already found this out, as we test fitted my Greg Welds on his car last week. Not even close.

Cause we were trying to figure out if these wheels fit anything, or if they are just completely worthless.

I got mine from Summit so if they don't fit I will just send them back and get a refund. But the fronts are already mounted so either way I am going to have to wait until the right ones are out.

UPDATE

They just called me back again to update me.
The new ones with the modified drop center are on the boat now and should be here in about 2 weeks at most.

As soon as they get in town I will be test fitting them at there wharehouse and taking pictures for everyone.

He also said they were able to take some more weight out of the wheels with the new design.

It will be worth the wait!

Are these the 8's or the 10's? I just checked Summit and the 15x8's got moved back to 7/17 while my 15x10's still say 5/15 for the expected ship date.
