I agree about the sumi's, I was look at em for the cheap but I def don't want to risk an accident b/c the get hard or hydroplane. Been there done that!

the Avon's are great tires..I have them on the back f my z now and cant complain at all and absolutely look great...the sumi's sucked for me....the kumho's werent that great either but the nexens i ran were pretty good...

Sumi are the best bang for the buck if all you care about it tread life and not hooking. They are a good DD tire and you can't beat the price. Never dig race unless you feel like spinning through the gears.....I would do as others have said and pony up for the slightly more expensive wheels.

I'm pimpin Riken Raptor ZR's. They have 16,000 miles on them, showing 7/8 32nd's front and rear. They don't hook for anything on the street, but quite a bit has to do with my stock suspension.

oh i care about hooking, the tires i have on the stockers right now are 245 potenzas and dont hook for ****. finally got the waterpump replaced and took it out for a spin today, and i mean spin literally tryed to get a 0-60 time and the tires spun at launch and going into second gear for like a second before finally shifting to second. its a pain in the *** but im gonna have to get something that can put the power to the ground because this is just sad my cars stock right now except flowmaster and cant hook lol...
