gsd3s are huge for what they are. my front tires of the same size look half an inch smaller

compare the section width

i dont think the bfg makes a 315 for either the kdw or kdw2. you should go with the eagle f1's anyway tho.

according to the reviews on tirerack, the G-Force T/A KDW's had a lot of road noise once they got a few miles on them, and there were no such reviews posted for the GS-D3's....and the GS-D3's had better wet & dry handling ratings, so i'd definitely go for them (and i did, too....just haven't been able to run them yet, due to a mix-up in the way my new wheels were made).

they are near equal. put mine next to a buddies, (mine GSD3) and they were VERY close. Although the GSD3 is a tiny bit wider.

Oh and the GSD3 is really good in the wet.

I've run both tires (in stock 275 width anyway) and am much more satisfied with the BFGs. Better wear, handling, and response, and I never felt that excessive road noise was an issue. Plus they cost less than the GS-D3s.

why wouldn't they, its one of their best performing tires. my local discount has plenty in stock.

get pilot sports if you want to spend almost double PER TIRE for a fractional if any performance increase

i think he means for an 18" diameter wheel, which looks to be what the OP has on his car, judging by his sig.

that depends on the wheel diameter.....i found them easily for a 17" wheel (even though they're currently on backorder):

315/35ZR17

but for an 18" wheel, you will have a lot harder time finding them.

what are *****'s here guys? If your car is loud enough you're not hearing any road noise... they're tires, they make noise... I would get the tire that gives you the best performance.
