There goes another tire!! Anybody having problems blowing tires??
I have the WS6 17 inch tires (275-40-17) and I have replaced 3 in 10,000 miles, all on the rear.
Bump stop is in good shape and hose mod out back, but hitting a bump that might be larger, but causes no problems to other cars, just destroys tires. Lots of cars with low-profile tires on the island, you'd just have to be here to understand. The mode of failure is sidewall pinch. I even added a quarter inch of cushion rubber from the pre-existing spacers above the spring to try to alleviate.
Please, not interested in the obvious "why don't you just avoid them" response, Puerto Rico is inundated with these problems. And I'm aware that I probably should've gotten a crappy import. No thank you.

hmmm very interesting. Have you tried bringing it to a shop to see what's going on, im sure youre not the only one. What tires are you running, wait that doesnt matter, i dont know dude that's real odd. If it looks stock under your wheel wells than i would definitely bring it in and have it checked out
When I got the car, the original tires (with dry rot) were on them. Lovely fella who owned the car had several other sports cars, both antique and new, and undoubtedly drove the car more gingerly than I do (I purchased at 28k 2 1/2 yrs ago). Today was unexpected because alot of the road problems have been fixed around here. 315 clams is not a punch line. Doing the $10 road hazard thing now, though.....

Agreed. I have hit some decent potholes around here & pulled over to check cause it hit so hard & I have never had a issue.

Is it the same rear tire that keeps failing? Check on your rear suspension for any problems. Maybe look at the upper and lower PHB to see if your rear is shifting causing your tires to come in contact with the fender.
