Drag Radial in the rain?

Hoosiers = no way.
New MT radials (315/35/17 style) do alright, Nittos always drove just like regular tires as long as they weren't bald as hell. Bias-ply MT's = no way.

Did you drive in the rain on those? I had a brand new set of them on my C6 and I couldn't do over 30 mph in the rain, or the car would get sideways. M/T drag radials SUCK in the rain. I had to drive on the shoulder of the freeway, not fun.
Nittos and BFG are okay when nearly new. About half worn, they suck in the rain. Just don't drive fast, because if they let go they reallllly let go.

i have 255/50/16 mt et street radials. my brother always told me to never drive with them on in the rain. my BFG DR's did just fine (if not better than my street tires, not sure why), even with the 40% tread when i bought them.
my MT's aren't bad, they are a little touchier than the BFG DR's. still haven't had any close calls with them. had more instances of losing traction with street tires over my DR's... maybe it's just because i'm more careful with them on.
