New 35th LE RIMS blk SS
I ordered a set of 4 35th SS anniversary wheels for my black SS and haven't recieved any notification on when they are going to ship.
Has anyone ever ordered these from gmpartsdirect?
How long does it take??
how come they won't return any of my emails asking for an ETA, it's like they aren't even there.
If i could find these anywhere else i would have ordered them by now this customer service is unbelievable.
EDIT : DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM GMPARTSDIRECT !!!!!!!

Good luck getting through on the phone. However you paid if you paid via CC call and put a stop payment and goto your local dealer and have them get the wheels. It'll be 100 times faster and you won;t have to pay return shipping when you recieve a screwed up set, you WILL get a screwed up set it took me 6 tries to get mine

Well I went ahead and bit the bullet today and put my new bfg g-force SS a/s tires on my old busted up rims for 85$ at firestone (discount wanted $120). My old ones couldn't turn with any water on the road and things were getting scary when it poured down rain today
So I am in no hurry anymore and i guess i am going to wait as long as it takes to get these rims in. Or until i find someone else who has them.

Give them a call and don't take no for an answer about your wheels.
Flow Chevrolet Inc

I had to call as it took them about 2 months before I even got a response. Just tell them unless they can get them to you in a resonable amount of time you'll put a stop payment on them, then goto your local dealer and pay the 50 extra to know that the wheels your getting will be in good shape. If there not the dealer has to eat the shipping costs, not you. Ask me how I know.

I will give them a call tomorrow and see wtf, but not before i check with my local dealer to see if they can get me the wheels instead.
Really not in a hurry anymore as i already have new tires on and am going to have to pay another 85$ to get them transferred over to the new wheels reguardless.
Guess i should have read the fine print or posted on this forum before i ordered, like many others i'm sure i just saw gm parts direct and thought i was dealing with GM directly and not some no-name dealership no better than my local one.
Live and you learn.

If the dealer charges you a little more it's WELL worth it, as I said before you WILL get a bad shipment or two before you get a good set. The paint on them and clear are **** unless you luck out and get a great set first try. Just remember that is GMPD ships you a bad set, YOU have to pay to ship them back each time until you get a good set. I'm just looking out for ya, theres alot of horror stories about these wheels and GMPD and they are all true. Just take your local dealer the part number for the wheel kit as it's listed on GMPD and see what price you can get it for, tell them you can get it for $840 shipped off of GMPD and see if they can match it. Best of luck to ya!

OK well i spoke with someone at that number and they were suprisingly kind and caring, he said it's taking a while to get them from gm, and when they do they will inspect them and make sure they are perfect before sending four out. He said sometimes they get bad ones in and people have to end up shipping them back so they are trying to keep that from happening.
On top of that my local dealership is wanting about 400$ more than gmpd so since i already ate the 80 bucks to put new tires on my old rims and i have a paint job coming up I am going to stick with GMPD for the time being. If they still aren't here after a month then i might look into some local dealerships in the area.
Chad, i owe you one big time man thanks for the number and great advice.

I know it's already too late to mention this, but did you try our sponsor SDPC for the wheels? I've ordered all my GM replacement parts and fluids thru them. Great service and shipping.
