Did the "non sponsor" rims thread get deleted? I'm trying to find that thread about the "non-sponor" rim's with the lip action going on, searched on here and on my email archives and i cant find it. did it get clipped? i was wanting to ask the guy that ordered some if he finally got his in, cant remember his name but he got the stagged set

no it is the ones that look like c6 zo6 rims but have alittle lip to them none of the sponsors carry them and was tring to find the user that bought them at this "online auction" site to ask him some questions..... since you cant say the name its harder to find the guy....even though the link that was posted has rims mentioned that arnt from sponsors....lame. owell

I was looking for that same thread yesterday. I'd like to see those wheels mounted and/or the c5 style replicas.
EDIT: Just saw this and I understand this but can a thread on these wheels still be posted as long as there is no reference made to the non-sponsor vendor or links?

I was the one who bought them. I bought the Deep dish 5 spoke c5s. All chrome. I was told I was the 1st person to EVER purchase them!! WOOT WOOT!!

Thanks. When I first saw the chrome version I immediately thought a cheaper alternative to CCW SP500s. Let us know what you think of the quality and if they'll balance correctly.

if the paying sponsor had these rim's then i would understand of why the word got trimmed.....but seeing as no one else carries these........

Well guys I just talked to OE & as of right now they aren't sure if they will be getting in any 18" for the front in these versions. they said they would have to call their supplier & see. But they did tell me there will be a fatter lipped ZR1 wheel comming out soon too.
And since Tomz carries OE wheels, I'm sure he will be pickin them up soon & offering packages, or at least I hope so anyway.
