Default LT1 Firehawk Speedline to 01 6 Cylinder Camaro...

I am trying to get my neighbor a good deal on tires but he insists that the 17" (245's) STOCK 95 FIREHAWK SPEEDLINES will not fit on his 2001 6 banger camaro (that has 16" wheels).

Please just reassure me that I am correct in that they will 100% fit (since I don't want to look like an idiot if he does buy them).

Thanks, and sorry for the stupid question.

Uhhh yeah. They will fit without issue. There is NO difference between the V8 and V6 suspension-clearance wise.
The Z-28's come with 16-245's stock.
The SS's came with 17-275's stock
I fit 315's with little trouble they will fit.

And that is what I have thought for the past 15 years, through owning one and all (though not a 6 banger).

Thanks, that's all I needed to hear.

Shouldn't have a problem but if it is a 17x9 wheel then I'd suggest a 275/40/17.

The tires are already mounted on the Speedlines. My neighbors kid crashed up the car, destroyed two of the wheels/tires, and therefore, was looking for cheap replacements. I found a killer deal on the Speedlines with brand new tires, so whatever is on there, is fine with me.

And thanks again for the quick reply!
