Default 315s

If im putting 315s on the rear 17x10.5 rims, would I be required to have an adjustable panhard bar? Or is it optional to where I would be ok for a bit?

you only need the PHB if you lower your car. if not, you dont need it.

While you don't need it, it isn't a bad idea.

That stamped piece isn't the sturdest.

Ok, yeah just want to make sure it holds as I will be getting the phb a week after I plan on installing the rims and tires.

I was looking into UMI and Spohn for the Adj phb, any difference?

FWIW, when I first started getting suspension parts on my old bird, I never got adjustable stuff, because I never saw a "need" for them.

On the new bird I have nothing but adjustable parts on the car, I even got rid of the non-adjustable LCA's in favor for adjustable ones.

It is soo much nicer having the ability to fine tune your suspension. I just fit some 325/50R15's with almost no modding whatsoever.

315's are usually a hit or miss when it comes to rubbing issues. If the vehicle is lowered then centering the rear end is pretty much a must to prevent tire rubbing in the fender well. I recommend an on-car adjustable set-up like the item in the link below... if you have any questions regarding the adjustment or set-up please let us know.

Thank you!

How do you center the rear? Are instructions on how to center the rear included with the PHB?

There was a thread not too long ago of a guy who had his lowered for about 6 months without one, and his driveshaft pretty much obliverated due to a little extra stress on the u-joint. It bent up, and hit his floorboard, and broke off i think. I havn't heard that happening a bunch, but i put one on mine, just in case...

Well that answers my question. Yeah hopefully get my konis and strano springs ordered within the next month or so. I will be looking into ordering the umi on the car adjustable PHB within the next 2 weeks. Thanks for the replys.

Did that guy have an adj. tq arm? Maybe he had his pinion angle off (sounds like the problem regardless)

Pretty straight forward install.
Should be able to do it yourself no problem.
