You talkin about my T/A...yeah one day I'll get some TTM's for it but its my daily driver so my project car is my main concern. Considering the rarety of the IROC, me and LPTXZ28 are the only ones that seem to want to stick with the stockers. All the pics look awesome though. keep em comin'

Damn thats messed up If I go with the ZR1's I can't decide between chrome or hyperblack...they both look good on a black car. I really started liking the chrome after I saw this

As far as wheels, I like the stock wheels too. I've always liked that wheel, actually, it's good design that still looks great on the car today.

Yes the Borg Warner rear FOR THAT YEAR is a rare. Check thirdgen.org. I've already spent over $400 rebuilding the stock rear with custom Moser axles, new bearings, seals, etc. The motor will still be original but rebuilt with vortec heads. You make a good point about the rims. Sounds like some of you are liking the stock look too though. That sleeper look would be cool but the hood may give it away.

Does anyone know if the 17 X 9.5 ZR1's that came on stock SS camaros(93-02) will fit on my 1988 IROC. Those SLP ones we are discussing will fit cause I called them and asked because you see...the backspacing on the front is different then that on the rear because of the borg warner rear. SLP's ZR1's are backspaced in the center of the two. If I wanted to go with 17X9.5 what kind of spacers would I be looking at having to get? I'm ok with spacers on the front, but not the back, not for the horsepower I am aiming for. Any suggestions?

I was going to say stockers until I saw that pic. That car looks nice. I'm sure your going to hold on to the stock wheels if you go with the ZR1s anyway. Might as well try something different. You can always go back.

I guess I haven't really spoken clearly enough. The backspacing on my Borg Warner rear is not a typical third gen back spacing nor is it the same as that on a forth gen. I was just hoping maybe someone has had this problem before to tell me what kind of spacers I would need for the fourth gen rims; and changing the rear is NOT and option. Sorry...not trying to sound like an a$$.
Oh yeah...I read this...

It doesn't really apply here, I'm trying to find out should I restore my stockers or take the time and trouble to make the fourth gens(the ones I want) really fit.

Your right, I know that SLP's ZR1's will fit cause I called and measured myself to makesure. But as far as for fourth gens go I guess I'll just have to get the rear back on the car and find a friend to let me borry his wheel to try on before I waste any money. What you said about the GTA wheels being labeled "back" and "front" same goes for this one. The lug nuts sit in alot deeper on the front ones than on the back ones. So I figured I'de need 2 inch for the front and less for the rear??? Does that make sense? But if they are out far enough and don't need spacers then I am set and I can go with the 4th gens. Like I said, no since in getting the 4th gen wheels if I need spacers in the back. Thanks for your help. Oh yeah, this wheel pic I put up earlier...it says rear at the top of the center.
