335 Hoosier DR's:

The car should make mid 700's and I'll be driving it alot. You won't have a prayer to hook with anything else other than Hoosiers or MT's.

Trust^^^^ That looks awesome!!! I wanted to do some Hoosier DR's but i was trying to get a little more mileage out of the tires... If i was gonna do some nice DR's.. id wanna stick them on a set of 15" Welds.

Cause i like my Z06's but they need to be re-chromed or powdercoated...

I would just get a second set of rims for the track.

I don't have near that much power, but I love my 555R's.

I run the Nitto DR's on my 531RWHP street car.
Not a daily driver, but I take drives into the mountains often, and the weather can really change quickly on me.

If you have an extra set of wheels, just stick with some Nitto DR's on your regular wheels, then some serious tires on the race wheels.

That is how I do it.

TTII's get the 315 Nitto DR's.
ProStars have 27x11.5 Hoosier QTP's.

For a daily driver i would go with the nittos or bfg's also. I only have 470rwhp and have had a set of 315 bfg dr's and have the hoosier dr's right now. the hoosiers side walls are a lot softer than the bfg and nitto. For that reason i wouldnt daily dirve it. Im probably only going to get about 1000-1500 miles out of them too. The bfg's lasted me about 3,000 miles and i had a buddy get about 7,000 miles out of his nitto's with 540rwhp.

I think with 600rwhp the only one that will dead hook is going to be the hoosier though. My buddy 540whp cant hook at all in 1st gear with his nittos or bfg dr's, but he run a 275/40/17.

So its definately up to you.

also if your going to run the prostars at the track your going to need longer studs. I just sold a set of 15x10 prostars for a good price too.
