BOTH outstanding tires! You couldn't go wrong with either choice. I went with the GS-D3's recently since I have had such great experiences with the high end Goodyear tires on my other cars. I even got $50 back too on a promotional rebate. Just incredible tires.

Ive been looking for tires too for a new set of rims. I think Ive settled on the Vredestein Sessanta instead of the ones you listed. They come in cheaper and have a higher wear rating plus an unreal tread design. Ive read a ton of reviews (26 pgs on a vette forum) and I think Ill be really happy with them on my car.

Prices for each

GY in a 275/40ZR17 is $208 a tire on tirerack.com
BS in a 275/40ZR17 is $270 a tire on tirerack.com
Sessanta in a 275/40ZR17 is $159 a tire on performanceplustire.com

Im a little bored and have nothing better to do.

Just remember that you get what you pay for. They may seem like the 'buy of the decade' when new with a few thousand miles on them, but with many of the so-called great cheap tires, about half way through the tread life you start to notice tramlining, harsher ride, etc... Worth it in the long haul? NOPE.

IVe seen some reviews where guys are at 25k miles on them and still have great traction and zero problems with them. Its hard for me to shell out over $200 a tire for something that MIGHT last 15k. Yea you get what you pay for but there are other tire brands out that perform just as good.

Also, Vredestein isnt know in the states but it is one of the best tire brands over seas. It has even beat both the bridgestone and goodyear in tire tests in Europe.

I would go with the GS-D3's. They are awesome in the rain and pretty darn good the dry. They do lose their stick toward the end of their life, but I guess all tires do.

My best friend's dad has an 07 Jaguar XKR with a pulley and some tuning said to be making high 300's to the tire and it handles and hooks great with the PS2 it has on it.
