Nitto neogens are not available in 245/50/16's. Trust me I looked, I put those on my wife's Mazda6. I think the Firestone Wide Ovals or BFG G forces' would be great choices, and you can get the BFG's in a 255/50/16, which I think looks better and hooks good. I have the Raptors, wear well but aren't exactly a hookin tire.

I dig my Michelin Pilot Sport 2's. I had KDW's on my car before. Big traction and handling difference. Worlds better in the rain. Decent at the dragway even. Don't let anyone talk bad about them. You get what you pay for.

I went to discount tire 2 days ago and I was looking to buying BFgoodrich g-force t/a kdws but they got discontinued that's what the guy said he tried calling other stores and warehouses couldn't find them so I went with the BF Goodrich g-Force Sport awesome tire so far.

personally, when it comes time to replace my tires again, i'm gonna go with the Cooper Zeon 2XS tires again, if they're still available at the time (i had the Coopers on my car previous to this set of tires). i have the GS-D3's on my car now, and i can't really tell any difference between them and the Coopers.....well, except for the hit to the pocketbook.
if there's any performance improvement, i think it's mainly because i went up from 245-width tires to 275-width tires......otherwise, i can't really tell much difference, if any.
and just to clarify, i'm not easy on my car in the corners, i like to whip around curves/turns much faster than most people feel comfortable with.....
i don't drag race at all, though, so i'm not sure of the difference in hooking between the two.
my coopers lasted in the neighborhood of 20k - 25k miles....but then again, they were close to completely bald (and the rears had cords showing in the middle) when i replaced them. realistically, expect around 20k. but at half the price of the GS-D3's, it's MUCH easier on the wallet.
