thanks for the compliment... post up some progress pics as you come along with the car.. sounds like its even going to be more badass when your done with it! kudos for all the hard work on sanding/polishing back out the ccws too. I had some smoothie IIs that went thru hurricane katrina that were torn up from hell and back and it look 2 months to sand all the blemishes out and make them shiney again and that was a BITCH! so i know how hard it was!

i'll be sure to keep everyone posted, the car belongs to some people on here almost as much as it does me. i try to keep business local when i can, but 90% of this car come from 'tech sponsors or other users. Most of the advice i get/give comes from here too, so i try to keep a good record of my progress for people to see.

yeah, the rear tires are mostly for looks and rim protection, not so much for traction
i'm hoping to either trade them for 19's, or a set of 18's...20's typically only look acceptable on cars with body kits (like the stock RS kit), but hopefully mine will be the exception to the rule

that's why i bought them, it was TOO good of a deal to pass up, for me anyway. the 454, well it's not cheap....i've done other things, like traded hoods, UMI K-member and A-Arms, Nasty stage 2 fuel system, painting the engine bay and hood....a whole bunch of stuff...and it's getting up around $15K in receipts....
