Default Anyone running black/gunmetal firehawk rims?

Just seeing if there's anyone out there running painted/powercoated Firehawk rims, especially on a black car/ 98-02 models. I think it might look good on my Hawk if I ran a bigger tire out back & some large chrome brakes

Can't say I've seen it before. Post up a photo and I can possibly edit it for you if I have time.

I bet one of these would work:

I have some Firehawk wheels but they could use some repair and either re-chroming or powdercoating. Be interesting to see them in black...

I have silver ones, I'm starting to think if someone powdercoated firehawks black it'd be best if they'd keep the outer edge/lip chrome. That last picture you posted up^ would be a great picture to photoshop.

If you do, it'd have to be pretty slick work - there's no edges between the spokes, the inner diameter, or the lip to use as a paint break... They'd have to somehow mask off the outer edge to make a lip.
Sorry if they're dirty. I haven't been in the mood for polishing lately.

I don't know if the pictures still work or not, but I can't get any pictures here anyway. If they work, it'll give you an idea. I still haven't ruled this out either. I like the chrome, but I like the black too.....

Pics in above link don't work. I found some time to do a quick photochop:

I need to find a Pewter Hawk to Photoshop it...

Edit: done -

I think it looks classier in chrome, but a clean triple-black car kicks ***.
