KD's all the way! I love them when they heat up they stick like glue. Not the best in the rain, but who drives these cars aggressively in the rain anyway?! The only draw back is that they don't last too long if u treat them bad.

I went with BFG KDs to replace my Nitto DRs Love the nittos, but they are just about at the wear bars after less than 5K miles In the front I am going with Yokahama AVS ES100s to replace the crappy-too-hard Dunlops that came with the wheels

I am also considering the goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires all around. I currently have 315/35/17 BFG KD's on the rears and they are great, but I want to try something different and something that last. Does anyone have pics of the f1 gs-d3 tires installed on their cars? I love the way the KD's look but I am not sure how the gs-d3's will look.

The GS-D3's are an awesome tire mine have about 12,000 on them now and they are holding really well. The tread pattern on them is pretty awesome to look at also.

I got mine from Tire rack for a little under 800.00. The tire is worth every penny to me but I am biased.

Have a good one.

No they are not as noisy as the stock F1's. I have had both. I love the GS D3's they do have some noise - not as quiet as the Nitto DR's I once had on all 4, but definately quieter than the F1's.

Why anyone would by another set of F1's is beyond me - they cost MORE yet have worse traction.

To me, the GS D3's are about the best street tire you can drive for a decent amount of time and still have good traction in rain. The Firestone Firehawks would also be close, but I have not personally used them.

The tire choice depends on the wether condition, if you plan to drive in the dry and wet get the f1 gs d3 they have been rated with a average of 9.2 in the dry and 9.1 in the wet out of 10 . The t-a kds are rated 9.5 in the dry and only 6.5 in the wet out of 10 you can find out the ratings for your self on www.tirerack.com hope this helps

Definetly go with the GS-D3's. They are awesome in the rain. I would venture to say that there is no other tire that can perform like the D3's do on dry pavement and still handle competently in the rain.

I won't say that they launch real well, I don't think any true street tire does. D3's are more of a lateral grip/handling tire than a straight line traction tire. But they definetly aren't bad.
