Default Tweeter ?

For some reason yesterday, I think I blew my driverside tweeter. The thing is Im still getting sound out of this speaker. My question is if I blow a speaker, would I still be able to get any kind of sound out of it?

If you "blow" a speaker that means you have torn the voicecoil so its disconnect you would get no sound. If you hear a "buzzing" you have torn the surround or the driver its self but it will still play. They buzzing is the air moving threw the crack or tear and the parts hitting one another. Eventually a "buzzing" speaker will become a "blown" speaker if you continue to use it.
