more bass not losing cargo space
ive got a stealth box with a mtx thunder 10 and 100 watt alpine amp...pioneer headunit and alpine door 6.5 speakers with tweeders in the doors...
i dont wanna lose any cargo space but want more bass, do 8's in the sail panels help much at all for bass? if i had those 2 8's and 2 10's in 2 stealth boxes in the trunk would i get pretty good bass? the problem now is i can already hear my mtx out of air space when i turn up the bass...
also i need my high tones louder from the doors, but i run them from the headunit so i think a simple amp on them would be more then enough...
then my next problem will be finding space for 3 amps...cars a t-top car and i wont mount amps visible or the system...damn
or how about i take a step back and yall guys reccomend me some stuff...

the problem with your subwoofer setup is your are only supplying it with 100W. Get a nice RE SE10 or Alpine Type R subwoofer and a 500W+ amplifer and you'll get the bass you want. Im running a 10" type R in a stealth box with a 480W amp and that thing hits hard. Then get a nice 200W amp for the front speakers. I have 2 amplifers and I didn't lose any cargo space unless you like setting things where my amps are.

Fi Q10 1ohm dvc (wired for a 2ohm)
https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraud...iew.shopscript
*MMATS D1600.2 (1150 rms @ 2ohm)
* https://ls1tech.com/forums/western-c...ps-4-sale.html
For your front speakers get a 2ch. amp with at least 50 and up to 100 watts rms per channel.
You can mount 1 small amp under the passenger seat and another 1 where the factory monsoon amp mounts by making a custom mount board.

i just hooked up a jl 350 watt amp and it does the same thing...the sub starts bottoming out...i mean either one it oblivously shakes the car mirrors and windows and sounds good...and you can feel it somewhat...but barely...i want to feel the bass in the car like shake your hair ect which isnt a lot more...thats what i want...and i dont want my system topped out to do this...
if the box was 1 cubic foot or slightly bigger i think it would do it...

I'm just saying, there is a lot of people that run stealth boxes with 600W+ amplifiers and it seems to work perfectly fine. What are the specs on your subwoofer? If I turn up my volume I can feel my hair move and it is still clean as hell, instead of trying to build a box around a bad or crappy subwoofer (not sure if it is bad or crappy, but sounds like it from your description), maybe you just need a new sub and amp (something at can handle 500W or so)
id do the pass stealth too but ive got a n20 bottle over there...

i have front components only with a 10" sub in a stealth box (no sail panel speakers at all), definitely hard hitting and if I go loud enough my ear drums start to hurt, so I know that this setup is good enough for me. Id say, get a big amp and a good subwoofer, if you dont like it, get another sub and stealth box.
Plus, not sure if you want to have your bass coming from 3 different speakers. Just curious, what model subwoofer do you have?

IMO, the only way a larger box is really going to make it noticeable louder is if it's ported, or 2 subs in a larger sealed box.

Yeah, you probably need at least 1cu.ft. for the sub in a ported box. That was a external port correct?
I'm currently running 2 IDMAX 10s in 1.6 cu.ft. each with a external Aeroport port @ 29hz with 1350 watts rms each;
It pounds!
Before that( just last month)I ran those same subs each in a stealth box and it was really loud! But I still wanted deeper/louder bass, and now I have it!

I'm running a single 10 in a JL stealth box, and witha 400W amp, it makes my hair shake...thats the first thing people comment on with my stereo...then they say "wow, your stereo sounds clear"

...I'm going to jump in here and agree it's a sub/amp combo issue. In the early 90's, I had 2 Kicker 12's in a hatchback, but I only sent them 75 watts RMS each and the best I could hit with that car is a 132 dB on the meter. I now have a single 10" Eclipse sub with a big X-Max sending it 250 watts RMS of old school Orion power and I hit 134 dB in my Z28. Before I had the Orion amp, I was only sending it 150 watts RMS with a Sony amp, and I could only muster around 130 dB with that set-up.
IF you have a GOOD sub that can handle power and has a good X-Max AND you send it a good amount of power, the results will be FANTASTIC.
You can check out my install here on how to get all those amps mounted without sacrificing ANY cargo space!

I have the Jl stealth box and when my 10W3 crapped out on my I emailed JL and asked if the 10W7 would work in that box and they told me yes. I did not go with it b/c of the cost. I ended up going with a MTX 5500 and it hit to my liking. I now need a new amp.
