Default Wiring system


Does this look correct to achieve a 2 ohm load for the sub woofers.
The amp pushes 1200 watts at 2 ohms and each sub woofer handles 600 watts rms.

Yea why do you have the remote lead on the cap? You only need it on the amps.

The capacitor I have has a remote in. If you dont run a remote wire to it then it wont turn on.

Bro ull never get the 2ohm load with a pair of DVC 4 ohms subwoofer.
heres what u can do:

I can get the same subwoofer but in a dual 2 ohm instead of a dual 4 ohm. Could I achieve a 2ohm load that way?

with a pair of DVC 2ohm u can wire to get a 0.5, 2 and 8 ohm load.













bro get urself a Pocket Digital Multi Meter Tester Ohm DC AC Volt Amps $10 shipped from ebay to measure ur ohm load and to make sure everything has gone the right way.

You can't really use an ohmmeter to determine impedance because impedance and resistance aren't the same thing. For example, a 4-ohm speaker will often read 3.x ohms resistance across the terminals using an ohmmeter.

So I need to get the dual 2 ohm subwoofers and hook them up like this



And it will send 600 watts to each. correct?
Would this be the best way to wire it?

ur correct,

last time i measured the resistance of a 4ohm speaker it read somthing like 4.2X, u will not get 100% acurate reading but ull be somwhere close.
