Funny timing...I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and looking to do nearly the same thing (LOL). (all from Kee Audio)

Is that the bass **** as supplied with the Cadence amp from Kee Audio?

If it is, did you replace the original lighter with the know, or did you make a hole there? I have a different console in my T/A, so I'm not familiar with what was there.

The bass **** is included in the box with the amp from Cadence. It does appear that he took the housing off of it to make it work behind the console, unless that's a different one.

Do it. Do. It. You'll be glad you did.

Yup, its the cadence bass ****. I pulled the lighter out, then used my dremel to make two slots in the bezel to slide the amp motherboard thinggy into. Then I glued it in place. =] If you want I have lots of pics of how I did it, gimmie your email and ill send you them!

I'll be keeping an eye on this since that is the amp I want to get even though I can't afford a sub and enclosure yet.

The cool thing about that amp and other 5-channel amps is that you can wire it up now and when you have enough for the sub and enclosure you don't have to buy another amp to power it. Just run the speaker wire to the amps sub output section and your good to go! Makes things alot more simplified IMO.

^^^ What he said. That's exactilly what I did. Ran everything then ran out of money, so the next paycheck I bought the sub and enclosure and wired it up in under 2 hours.
