subthump stealth question
hi. long time search tool user first time not found answer.
why dont these subthump stealth boxes come in 12 inch. i did a mockup on my 98 t/a and it seems to me like it will work. the onlything i am kindof ify about is the fact that the t-top touches the speaker bezel but might not touch the surround when its playing music. i have emailed the subthump guys and asked them. ill let yall know what they say. its probly more of an airspace issue but who cares as long as ac/dc is loud and my t-tops are secure.

after a bit more reserch i found the specs for the subs i have. the minimum air req is .8. these stealth bozes give .6 drivers and .65 passenger side. BUT im wondering how much airspace you get when you do it fiberglass moulded in that spot like ive seen some do on this forum. from what i can see the stealth boxes from subthump are 3/4 mdf. seems like a waste of space to use such thick wood when fiberglass is enough. i think ima do this build myself and see how it sounds

I am building a box the same size and shape as my spare tire. will fit in the same location using factory mounting from the spare tire. Much more airspace. Totally stealth. NO HOLES in vehicle! Removable!!
I am going to start selling these soon at $200 ea. I am also building ampracks of the same design. Will post up picks soon!!!
