Default Delco Bose 09365799 sail panel

Will someone be able to post the specifications/output/RMS of these factory rear panel speakers for the 98-02 Firebird/TA? The FAQ has great information for most everything else, albeit outdated now.

I would like to find better quality, more durable speakers that are at the least an equivalent to the factory Delco Bose.

I tried Google to find this info, but was unsuccessful.

Thanks!

First of all, there was no Bose system in any f-body after 1996. The Monsoon system uses an 8-channel amp that puts out about 240 watts RMS. That makes Camaro sail panel subs about 30W RMS each. It also makes the Firebird about twice as much (60W RMS each) because they have dual voice coil subs running off separate amp channels.

Google won't help you, (unless it re-directs you back to this site) but Kee Audio will. Go see Ian and he can hook you up with Bazooka replacements under $150. http://www.keeaudio.com/id72.html

I replaced may sails with them and they are great! https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...ll-w-pics.html
