Default New hatch speakers?

So I have some brand new Cadence 4x6's in my closet. They are an older model version but I never even used them. Should I fab up a mount and put them in my hatch? Would it be worth it/smart to do? I would like to use them, but if it's a bad idea I can always sell them. Whatcha think?

I wouldnt bother. If you are going to go custom put 6.5s back there. I custom mounted speakers in the back and unless its something really good its not worth the trouble. Sell em.

I like having hatch speakers myself.
Plug them in and see if you like them.

Everyone says they're useless, but I disagree. When my radio is turned up and I open my hatch, those things are blasting.

I might just go ahead and try them out. It wouldn't be too much work to make 2 brackets for 'em. I'm gonna end up putting all new speakers in anyways. So I think I'm gonna test them out. Thanks for the input.

the oem ones are extremely distorted sounding though. any 4" speaker is going to be worthless and not worth the money. but its definitely worth converting to something better back there for a surrounded by sound effect if thats what you mean.

Yeah I know what you mean. To be honest, I never even checked if the speakers back there are stock. Whatever they are, they contribute nicely.

OH btw before you install, dont if you have oem hu! Its def not worth it. My polks in the rear make the panels rattle loudly since the monsoon feeds them lows and the panels are small and light. I have the lowest 3 on the equalizer almost all the way down and I still have to fade out the rears half way to stop the rattles.

If you got a bass filter that might work though. Im just keeping it this way since im installing new amps and carputer this summer. But annoying as hell. I have to adjust the rears for every song.

It's all stock Monsoon speakers in there now. I'm eventually going to go with some bazooka's for the sails and not sure what to go with yet for the fronts.
