I measured each side made a circumference with a pencil and a nail then cut a hole with the Jigsaw, and finished it off with a router

Carpeted and cut

Then Staple gunned

Both sides completed

Who said a 12" sub wouldn't fit??

Just fits perfectly
You should do a little bit more research into WHY subwoofers go into enclosures at all.
This is a fantastic site to get you started. Nothing like building your first box, but a little knowledge and research would have saved you the wasted effort.
