Ahhh... I found it. Thanks fellas. It didn't seem to change anything, but I at least found it. I seem to get more bass out of my stock Delco than I am this one, but oh well.. May just be in my head.

just keep pressing the imprint button until you see the loudness option. turn the "alpha" dial so that loudness is on.

I had a single type r 10 in subthumps stealth box with an alpine 600.1 and was not too happy, switched to a dual 10 subthump ttop box and added another type r 10 and apline 600.1 and still not happy with the sound. If it works for you then cudos but I would advise anyone looking to put together a system to shy away from anything you could get in a BestBuy. About to switch all my stuff to Sundown Audio. In the firebird as well as 2 8's in a ported box in my single cab s10. I knew better when I bought the Alpines and yet, still went ahead with them, twice! Wont ever make that mistake again.

Why the hate for the alpines? Personally I don't have them, but all the ones I've heard that were done right sounded pretty good. Granted there will always be better options, but the alpine system's I've heard have all had pretty good sound quality and still hit pretty low.

Just curious what didn't you like about them?

No hate here, just my opinion, and its aimed strictly towards the subs. I have been happy with the Alpine decks I have used, and I have no experience with thier components or coaxial speakers.

well it sounds like u like your low ends to hit hard,
personally i went with this set up bc of the weigh with all of it put together i maybe added 60 lbs to the car compared to a full out sound system,
like i said if u like your low end to hit hard thats bad ***, i love them 2.
but i dont want to slow my car down bc of subs.

well ofcorse ill post some pics tomorow.
but well its 2 am right now so
ill just give you a little idea on how i did this...

Well the wires.
The power went from my driver side
drilled a whole thruw the fire wall
and got the power to feed right behind the
sub woofer and runs behinds the amp rack

The rca Cables run thruw the center under the carpet...
on the left side of the tranny wheel thing

i have my tweeters powered by my head unit so these wires
run down the right side of the tranny wheel

and the speakers wires are all runed thruw the side of the car two on the right side

and the left side they run from the amp to the back of the rear seats to the left rear speaker and the front left speaker runs thruw right under my seat.

Tried to get most space between them as possible
maybe this can help?
ill try to make a picture on paint if u like...
but i will try to post pics tomorow.
