Sound deadener

I searched through the threads but can't find current information.

Here"s the question: I installed fatmat a few years ago and in the rear above the exaust it is melting into this black sticky goo.

So is there a version of edead, or dynamat or whatever that can take the heat and is nice and light? I am looking for the lightest, best product out there. Considering all the work it takes to install I don't mind sopending a little for the best product.

Their damplifier lite looks like it would fit the bill, do you guys have experience with it? Would you then put the ensolite over it or the dynaliner - they both appear to be nice and light?

I've got the regular Damplifier, just about everywhere, and overkill pro, an regular overkill. Great stuff that has passed the test of years of california summer heat in my car.

I think you'll be happy the damplifier lite with a layer of overkill on it.
