Yeah i may have to build one cause the shops around here keep telling me there's not enough room back there to build a ported one. Problem is its winter and don't have a heated workspace

A buddy of mine and I used a couple tarps, an old swing set, and 2 bastelball goals to make a little "space tent" with several heaters in it to do a spring swap on his car. (My shop was full, and so was everybody else's.) It was kind of a PITA, but we did what we had to do. And it worked! lol

Well the shop said there wasnt sufficient space to build a ported box so i may try other semi-local shops since itll be tough to have the time for me to do.

You have enough room back there for one 12" ported, and two 10's ported, FACT! They'll (the audio shop, or yourself)just have to get creative with the enclosure, and port design.
And depending on the sub even one 15" ported.

Exactly! Im currently working on a box for 1 15" Omega, and it will, of course, be ported. Just find a shop that can do it.

cfallsguy, Too bad you don't live in the area. I could definitely made sure you were taken care of.

Yeah two Kicker CVR's ported to 30-34hz, haven't decided yet. And i picked up a new amp as well, went with a US Amp m1d1, pushes it very nice.

Update: Box got delayed at the shop since they're waiting for the second port to come in and the supplier keeps forgetting to send it, thats what I am told. Overall, the box looks good when i went in to check it out, nothing too special but no complaints. Also in the process of trying to sell my CVR's and upgrade to either two AudioQ SDC2.5 12's or two DC Audio level 3 12's. Also planning on doing the 'Big 3' when time allows then most of the system stuff will be done with an exception of replacing the 6.5's in the doors/sails. Car is also nearing completion (for what i want to do to it, since its only a v6) since i recently picked up the rest of the RS kit and just need to paint it, and the c5 y2k summer wheels will be on here in a few months.

Also currently working on a project to hold the ttops since the box will be in the well and im making an amp rack for the rear hatch hump, so i may build slot holders on the floor between the rear seats and front seats but i need to do some measuring and stuff.
Any suggestions/comments/ideas?

Are they doing Aero ports or something?

And I would probably go with the AudioQ over the DC for SQ. I had an HDC3 that sounded really good, and they get very loud for the price.

Box finally installed and I am real impressed, sounds a whole lot better. Now powered by USAmp md1d and soon to be AQ subs or DC lvl3's. Doesn't look the best but it gets the job done. Next comes an amp rack.
It is also ported to 34hz at the moment, may tune it to 32 later but for now I'm happy, everyone at the shop talked about how impressed they were and said it was almost as loud as a local guys cavy that used to work there (he does bass race with it, so i took it as a compliment).

Also, don't mind the speaker covers, previous owner sprayed em and this summer I'm going to fix them along with all the other sprayed stuff.
