Can a USB, when inserted into a stereo transmit to relay to the television. images co

Hi Friends,
Is it possible for a stereo with USB capabilities, be able to show the images of photos that were copied on it, so that we can see them on the TV screen ? I have done this with MP3 and the stereo can read the sound from the USB but somehow ordinary songs which are NON MP3, cannot be read from the USB.

What make and model head unit?

MP3 files can be recorded with embedded cover art images but WAV files (the other format supported by most head units) don't have that capability.

As stated it really depends on the model of the unit. My Farenheit unit I have in my DD does DVD, VCD, MP3, MP4, Divx, and Xvid.
I think it would depend on the format of the data (pictures) on the USB drive.
