Sub /Amp suggestions

Sub /Amp suggestions Got the stealth box and Now I need a sub and an amp.I have been recommended these.
(1) Image Dynamics IDQ 10 v.2 or v.3
(2) RE SE-10
(3) Alpine Type-R
Depending on which sub I go with,what amp would you say would be a good pairing.Thanks

from personal experience I can tell you the RE SE-10 is an awesome sub. It can take a beating, and it sounds outstanding doing it. I would either go with the Image Dynamics or RE if in your position.

I don't really have a local audio store to listen to any of these,so I need all the help I can get. I listen to all sorts of music,rock,metal,rap,etc.
The arc ARC10 would be a good choice too. They are similar to the I D and work well in small sealed boxes, they're very versatile. If you're looking for an amp to pair one with I would use the ks500.1 or the ks300.2 both are extremely clean amps. Arc also has a ks mini series that's very small but powerful, check out the ks500.1mini too. Just a suggestion. Out of the three subs you named I like the I D.
The only problem I've ever had with re is customer service. But remember that is very important when it comes to warranty issues. I haven't dealt with the company in a few years though, things might be better now.

And there are so many great options for amps. Your budget will help determine that for sure, as will how much power your sub will require. Are you planning on having the amp dedicated to your sub, or run your whole system off of it?
All above mentioned are nice. I've also used the RE Audio SE10...great sub. I like the Fi and the CDT but those are MUCH pricier subwoofers.
Also now have MMATS which are in the same performance level and price as the RE Audio. Plus they have very nice amps as well. Some stable down to .5ohms...yes a half ohm stable amp.
Kicker and MTX don't hold a candle to CDT, MATTS, ID, Fi, and several others mentioned. The Type-R is somewhere in between those mentioned and the MTX/Kickers. I would not say it is a bad subwoofer by no means, it is a good performing sub but compared to the performance level of some of the others...

Depends on your budget. If you're not looking to spend a lot, check out MB Quarts DSC line of amps. If budget isn't much of a concern and you're looking for a great amp, I would check out JL's HD series or Alpine PDX series of amps.

I'd take a look at the MB Quart DSC line then. Great amps for the price.

I'm not sure how good PG amps are anymore. I used to run their ZX series amps faithfully years ago and they were great, but I've heard their amps aren't what they used to be. Though I can't imagine you can go wrong with it.
