Also now have MMATS which are in the same performance level and price as the RE Audio. Plus they have very nice amps as well. Some stable down to .5ohms...yes a half ohm stable amp.
Kicker and MTX don't hold a candle to CDT, MATTS, ID, Fi, and several others mentioned. The Type-R is somewhere in between those mentioned and the MTX/Kickers. I would not say it is a bad subwoofer by no means, it is a good performing sub but compared to the performance level of some of the others...

I'm not sure how good PG amps are anymore. I used to run their ZX series amps faithfully years ago and they were great, but I've heard their amps aren't what they used to be. Though I can't imagine you can go wrong with it.
